Our mission is to assist and develop ministries for widows that focus on their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.
Widow’s Might Ministry, International is a 501.c.3, charitable organization chartered under the laws of the State of Michigan. It is a faith-based ministry totally dependent upon the donations of individuals and organizations. All donated funds are used for the ministry. Neither the Board of Directors or the President, Dr. Linda Hostetter, receive any income from the ministry.
Widows Might is actively battling for widows in underdeveloped countries where they suffer stigmatization, isolation, physical and psychological abuse, and extreme poverty. Our current efforts to accomplish this mission include international conferences for widows that affirm their value and promote their spiritual and emotional growth, and the building of skills acquisition centers that will provide Christian education, professional skills training, as well as additional support for widows and their children. These centers will provide a sustainable solution for widows living in poverty and poor social standing by developing their skill sets, autonomy, and ability to provide for themselves and their children.
